What we do

Water, Sanitation & Hygiene

Clean, reliable water within reach of every household.

WASH

Water, Sanitation & Hygiene

In the drylands, water is the difference between survival and crisis. PACIDA drills and rehabilitates boreholes, constructs and de-silts water pans, extends piped and solar-powered schemes, and establishes community water-management committees to keep systems running long after we leave. Alongside infrastructure, we drive Community-Led Total Sanitation (CLTS), hygiene promotion, and school WASH — cutting waterborne disease and returning hours to women and girls who once walked for water.

Help us go further

Every project under WASH is built hand in hand with the community. Explore our work, or make a gift that reaches the next family in the drylands.
